TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

I have experience working on 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and NX Siemens, using both for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) along with Ansys. I've programmed in C (Arduino), Python, and MATLAB for academic assignments and projects. I'm familiar with GSuite, Microsoft Office, and iWork applications. I've also used fabrication and machine shop devices such as laser cutters, 3D printing for ABS and PLA, dremel, Keyence, and drill press. Using these tools and technologies, I'm able to move efficiently with product design and Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) since I understand manufacturing processes.

iPhone Product Design Intern at AppleJanuary - August 2025
  • Investigated design trade-offs for camera mass-volume ratio, resulting in decreased interior space consumption, lowered manufacturing cost, and increased overall phone thickness

  • Created retrofits using NX CAD for magnetic shielding Design Of Experiments (DOE), analyzing effects of module alignment

  • Explored reinforcing structural components to increase strength and raw material usage (RMU) by metal 3D printing

Research Assistant in Neuromechanics LabJune 2023 - December 2025
  • Used FEA and Ansys Workbench to analyze internal stress of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designed to read electromyography (EMG) waves through arm strap

  • Fabricated light-up button that tracked haptic feedback used for in-person studies on candidates with stroke or spinal cord injuries

Winter Intern at Medina InsulationDecember 2023 - January 2024
  • Updated employee safety manual to reflect fire rescue and on-site safety requirements
  • Tracked 2023 internal revenue audits using Microsoft Excel for 7 employees
Engineering Intern at GasFlo ProductsMay 2022 - June 2023
  • Created 2 custom manifold pipelines and 1 actuator system in SolidWorks for production and shipping

  • Performed quality control tests on surface-finished gas components; validated dimensions via Keyence; identified burrs, burns, and knicks via microscope

  • Filed ~20 work orders and confidential part and assembly drawings per week

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

I love help people, improving the lives around me and changing things for the better. I value collaboration and working with other people. From working as an orientation counselor, community advisor, and career peer mentor, I learned how to meet people on their level and how to interact with those who have different lived experiences and cultures from mine. Additionally, I practiced delegation, event planning, and conflict resolution, all skill necessary for any role relying on project management.

Career Peer Mentor at CPDCOctober 2023 - May 2026
  • Assisted underclassmen with their resume and cover letter development 8 hours per week at the Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC)

  • Created guidelines for improving and maintaining connections between CPDC and CMU clubs, suggesting +40 professional organizations to target for career fair preparation and resume development

  • Wrote 7 freshmen sample resumes for all disciplines at CMU
